Discussion Questions: Exodus 6:28-7:13

QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION AT HOME OR IN GOSPEL COMMUNITY GROUPS

Sermon manuscript available at emmausrbc.org

  • How does the Exodus story demonstrate that God is able to keep his people while simultaneously judging the wicked thought they are interspersed amongst them? How does the story of the flood and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah do the same?
  • Our situation does not mirror Israel’s situation in the promised land, rather it mirrors Israel’s situation in Egyptian captivity and in the wilderness. Why? Discuss the significance of this.
  • How does this apply to us as we see wickedness increasing all around?
