- Why did Pilate condemn Jesus if he thought he was innocent?
- The Scriptures teach that we must be subject to the governing authorities because they are God’s ministers in the civil realm. Does this mean we should expect them to always act justly? Does this mean we must always obey them? Why then do the Scriptures command us to honor them (Romans 13:1-7; 1 Peter 2:13-18)?
