Instead of providing a “song of the month” in the Household Worship Guide, I will include the worship set for the upcoming Sunday. Starting next week it will be embedded into the guide.
Joe and Mike have mentioned a few times the importance of memorizing the songs we sing. The better we know the songs the more meaningful they become during our worship.
In addition, using these songs throughout the week during family worship will help prepare our children to participate in corporate worship. I think our children experience a powerful connection when they participate in singing the same songs corporately as they do within the home.
Below is the worship set for 12/1. The songs are linked to Itunes but I’m sure you can find and listen to them for free on other sites.
