MINISTRY TO THE CHURCH
Here at Emmaus we have a passion to see the gospel proclaimed in the San Jacinto Valley and to the ends of the earth and we know that the gospel will go fourth as God has intended only when we are willing to take it with hearts that are filled will love and compassion for our fellow man. The Church is called to proclaim the gospel and to represent Christ as we go, showing compassion and meeting the needs of people body, mind, and spirit with the hope that their souls will find rest in Christ.
That said, we also understand the tremendous importance of caring for members of our own body. If we fail to love one another, certainly we will be ineffective in loving the non-believing world. We believe that Christians are called to serve the church, community, and nations but we do see that the scriptures direct us to especially take care of those who are a part of the household of faith.
Galatians 6:10 says, "So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith."
HANDYMAN MINISTRY | ||
If you are a part of Emmaus Reformed Baptist Church and you have needs around the house, we have a group of men who would like to offer their services to you. Please contact Dave Anady so that we can begin the process of determining how we can help you. This is one way that we hope to care for our brothers and sisters in Christ in obedience to Galatians 6:10 which says, "So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith." |
